Mr. Kimbrough moved to item #6 regarding a request for placement of a no <br />parking zone in 200 block 2"d SW. Mr. Tuttle advised members that Fire Marshall <br />Dale Maberry requested the placement of a no parking zone in front of Christians <br />in Action to keep entrance clear for emergency vehicles. After discussion of this <br />item Mr. Holmes made a motion to place a no parking zone at this location. <br />Motion was second by Mr. Frierson and carried 5-0. <br />Mr. Kimbrough moved to item #7 regarding presentation of information <br />concerning school zones within the city and placement of cell phone use signage <br />in school zones. Mr. Tuttle informed members that city staff was in the process of <br />installing cell phone usage signs in the school zones. Mr. Tuttle also informed <br />members that some school zones may need to be moved to be in compliance <br />with regulations and if so a change in ordinance may be needed. <br />Mr Kimbrough moved to item #8 regarding future agenda items. There were no <br />future agenda items. <br />Mr. Holmes moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr Frierson at 5:38pm. Motion <br />carried 5-0. <br />Submitted by Asst.
