MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />C1TY OF PAR1S HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14, 2010 <br />12:00 0'CLOCK P.M. <br />The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, Chairman at <br />l 2:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Paul Denney, Vice-Chairman <br />Douglas Cox <br />Ben Vaughan <br />Jerry Raper <br />Matt Coyle <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Susan Scholz, Secretary <br />C. Also present was Jeanna Scott, City Staff. <br />2. Approval ofrninutes fronl previous miiitstes. (March 22, 2010) <br />Motion was made by Matt Coyle, seconded by Pau] Denney to approve the minutes for the March <br />22, 2010 meeting. Motion carried 6-0. <br />Consideration of and action on the, following Certi ficates of Appropriateness: <br />A. 250 and 265 Soutlz Main Street - Gibraltar Hotel - Fence Color - Britin Bostick, 222 E. <br />Hickory, presented the petition. Ms. Bostick stated received approva] to add a fence to the <br />properties. The approved color for the fence was black; they are proposing to change the <br />color from black to a gayish green. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Paul <br />Denney to approve the COA. Motion carried 6-0. . <br />B. 265 South Main Street - Gibraltar- Hotel - Withdrawn by petitioner. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the followiilg Faqade Grant: <br />A. 110, 112, 114, 116 and 118 Clarksville Street - Andy and Nancv Anderson - Motion was <br />made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Paul Denney to approve the fagade grant in the amount <br />of $327.90. Motion carried 6-0. <br />CONSENT AGENDA--- <br />[Items appearing on this consent agenda may be approved by a single vote of'the Comnlission, with <br />such approval applicable to all iterris appearing on said agenda.
