W. <br />E. 47 ]2l1' Street S.E. <br />Motion was made by Paul Denney, seconded by Douglas Cox to send all structures to the Building <br />and Standards Commission for demolition since they cannot be rehabilitated nor do they have <br />significant historical value. Motion carried 6-0. <br />6. Discussion of and possible action on recommendations fi-om the sub-committee on Historic <br />Preser-vation handouts foi• the pisblic. Matt Coyle presented a rough draft of the proposed handout. <br />Mr. Coyle further requested feedback from commissioners regarding information the handout <br />should or should not contain. Proposing a contact person placed on the brochure either with the <br />City of Paris or the commission, in case an individual had questions. The decision was made to <br />place the City of Paris as contact point, because the commission members change. Commission <br />approved the handout. <br />7. Discussioiz of and possible action on comparative language of the Design Guidelines on siglzage <br />vefsus the Sign Ordinance. Ben Vaughan addressed commission regarding the sign ordinance and <br />conflicts with Design Guidelines. Commissioners requested Mr. Vaughan come back at the next <br />meeting with changes that need to be made. <br />8. Request items for.future agendas. Sign ordinance vs. design guidelines. <br />5.
