Motion carried. <br />Financial reports for May and June 2010 were approved, as submitted, by a motion from Rick <br />Poston; seconded by Doug Wehrman. <br />Steve Gilbert presented the Director's Report: <br />• Demonstration of the new PEDC Website should be available for the regular August <br />meeting; <br />• Will present Plan of Work for 2010-11 at the September meeting; <br />• Incubator Update: Has established a Board of Directors, currently conducting a logo <br />contest for the Red River Region Business Incubator (R3bi), completed the business plan, and has <br />expressed interest in the Surgery-Tech Center, owned by Paris Regional Medical Center on <br />Clarksville as a possible incubator site; <br />• Sara Lee will begin lay offs in August, sustaining 170 jobs; <br />• Close to formalizing the Daisy Dairy agreement, water line is being installed and should be <br />completed in the near future; <br />• Awaiting response from Attorney General regarding Paris Living funding request; <br />• Industrial Park maintenance on-going; <br />• PEDC FY 2010-11 operating budget completed and sent to City of Paris by July 1, 2010. <br />. - 9 <br />
