The chief of the fire department, or any member of the bureau of fire <br />prevention may enter any building, structure, or premise for the purpose of <br />making any inspection or investigation which, under the provisions of this article, <br />may be deemed as necessary. <br />Secs. 12-14 12-35. Reserved." <br />Section 3. Article II, In General, of Chapter 12 of the City of Paris Code of <br />Ordinances be, and is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows: <br />"ARTICLE IL LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS <br />Sec. 12-36. Applicable laws and regulations. <br />Liquefied petroleum gas shall be regulated by state law and the City's fire <br />code. <br />Sec. 12-37. Use near natural gas line prohibited. <br />No person shall use liquefied petroleum gas for domestic, commercial, or <br />industrial purposes on premises, when any part of the property line, of such <br />premise, is within one hundred (100) feet of a natural gas distribution line. <br />Secs. 12-38--12-50. Reserved." <br />Section 4. Article III, Fire Reserve Unit, Sections 12-51 through 12-66, of Chapter <br />12 of the City of Paris Code of Ordinances be, and hereby is repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 5. Article IV, Fire Prevention Code, Sections 12-86 through 12-89, of <br />Chapter 12 of the City of Paris Code of Ordinances be, and hereby is repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 6. Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, be and the <br />same is hereby amended by adopting a new Article III, entitled Fire Code, to read in its <br />entirety as follows: <br />"ARTICLE III. FIRE CODE <br />Sec. 12-51. Adoption of the 2006 International Fire Code, 3rd printing, <br />April 2007. <br />There is hereby adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, <br />for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to <br />life and properry, those certain codes known as the 2006 Edition of the <br />International Fire Code, Third printing: April 2007 Appendices A, B, D, E, F <br />and G, to the same extent as if such Code were copied verbatim in this Article <br />subject to local amendments as set forth in this Article. Copies of the Codes <br />and the amendments thereto, as referenced herein, are on file in the office of <br />5 <br />
