Paris, Texas with the exception of a"Training Fire" as defined <br />by Section 302.1. <br />1. Agricultural Burn Permits shall be issued by the Fire Code <br />Official for property that is a minimum of ten acres in size <br />and is zoned agricultural by the City of Paris. An <br />agricultural burn permit will be valid for one (1) full year <br />and there shall be no fee charged for its issuance. Only <br />brush, limbs, trees and other natural vegetation may be <br />burned at the discretion of the Fire Code Official, as long as <br />such material is generated only from that property on <br />which it is to be burned. <br />2. Standard Burn Permits shall be issued by the Fire Code <br />Official for disposal and recreational fires. Only brush, <br />limbs, trees, and clean, untreated lumber may be burned. <br />Section 105.7, Required construction permits, shall be amended by <br />deleting the following subsections: 105.7.2, 105.7.3, 105.7.5, 105.7.7, <br />105.7.8, 105.7.10 and 105.7.13. <br />Section 106.2.3, Approval required, shall be added to read as follows: <br />Work shall not be done beyond the point indicated in each <br />successive inspection without first obtaining the approval of the <br />Fire Code Official. The Fire Code Official, upon notification, shall <br />make the requested inspections and shall either indicate the <br />portion of the construction that is satisfactory as completed, or <br />notify the permit holder or his or her agent wherein the same <br />fails to comply with this code. Any portions that do not comply <br />shall be corrected and such portion shall not be covered or <br />concealed until authorized by the Fire Code Official. <br />Section 109.3, Violation Penalties, shall be amended to read as follows: <br />Any person, firm, partnership, corporation or association <br />violating any provision of this article or of any code adopted <br />herein shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon <br />conviction in the Municipal Court, shall be subject to a fine not <br />to exceed TWO THOUSAND AND NO/loos ($2,000.00) DOLLARS <br />for each offense, and each and every day such violation <br />continues shall be deemed to constitute a separate and distinct <br />violation. <br />Section 111.4, Failure to comply, shall be amended to read as follows: <br />8 <br />
