A Contract for residential collection 396 services shall be effective upon the execution of the contract and performance of such contract 397 shall begin on a negotiated date no later than August 31, 2011. 398 399 Section 17 - LICENSES AND TAXES 400 The Contractor shall obtain and maintain all licenses and permits (other than the license and 401 pennit granted by ;e Contract) and promptly pay all taxes required by the City, ~ 402 403 404 Section 18 - TERM 405 The term of service for landfill services will be far a ten (10) year period, with an option to 406 renew for an additional ten (10) year period, beginning on April l, 2011, Either party may 407 cancel the contract by notifying the other party by certified mail a minimum of one (1) year prior 408 to the expiration date of the term. 409 410 The term of service for residential collection services will be for a ten (10) year period, with an 411 option to renew for an additional ten (10) year period, beginning on a negotiated date no later 412 than August 31, 2011, Either party may cancel the contract by notifying the other party by 413 certified mail a minimum of one (1) year prior to the expiration date of the term. 414 415 Section 19 - INSURANCE 416 The Contractor sha11 at all times during the Contract maintain in full force and effect employer's 417 liability, warker's compensation, public liability and property damage insurance, including 418 contractual liability coverage for the provisions of any service contemplated by this Agreement. 419 All insurance shall be by insurers licensed to do business in Texas and for policy limits 420 acceptable to the City; and, before commencement of work hereunder, the Contractor agrees to 421 furnish the City certificates of insurance or other evidence satisfactory to the City to the effect 422 that such insurance has been procured and is in force. The certificates shall contain the following 423 express obligations: 424 425 "This is to certify that the policies of insurance described herein have been issued to the insured 426 for whom this certificate is executed and are in force at this time. The City is an additional 427 insured for all insurance policies except Worker's Compensation and Contractor shall provide a 428 Waiver of Subrogation in favor of the City.
