Tires: Tires will be picked up for a charge of $5.00 (five dollars) each with a four (4) tire limit <br />966 per month. Only tires from a passenger car or light duty truck (one-ton or less) will be picked <br />967 up for this fee. These tires shall be the standard manufactures recommended size for the <br />968 vehicle they were removed from. <br />969 <br />970 8. Brush cut in three (3) foot lengths and tied in small bundles (no more than the [3] cubic feet) <br />971 will be picked up on regular collection days. <br />972 <br />973 9. Lartze brush/limb nickun; fees. For large accumulation of brush or loose limbs the resident <br />974 shall be charged a separate fee of ten-dollars ($10.00) for each three hundred fifty (350) cubic <br />975 feet or portion thereof, of accumulated brush/limbs. PLEASE NOTE: 350 cubic feet is <br />976 equivalent to 7'x7'x7'. The additional charge will be assessed on the monthly water bill in <br />977 accordance with Section 16-28 (b) of the Code. Only brush accumulated from the individual <br />978 residential lot will be eligible for the large brush pickup service; brush from contractors, land <br />979 clearing, or brush moved to residence from another location will not be accepted. <br />980 <br />981 10. In lieu of brush pickup, residents may personally deliver their residential brush to the City of <br />982 Paris compost site on Field Road with no additional fee. A maximum of two (2) loads <br />983 containing no more than 350 cubic feet per load may be taken to the compost site per month. <br />984 At the time of drop off, a current water bill and a driver's license will be required. Compost <br />985 site hours of operation are Wednesday 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm and <br />986 Thursday/Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. It is also open on <br />987 Saturday's from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. <br />988 <br />989 11. Brush: Limb size shall not exceed eighteen (18) inches in diameter and cut no longer than six <br />990 (6) foot to eight (8) foot in length. Brush pick-up will be accomplished by picking limbs up <br />991 curbside with the boom truck and hauling away. Limbs/brush placed for pick-up shall not <br />992 block drainage ditches nor sidewalks and shall not be placed in the street. New brush lists are <br />993 distributed and started on Wednesday of each week. New lists are not worked until previous <br />994 lists are completed which may require more than one (1) week. For brush pick-up, call Public <br />995 Works office at 903-784-9266. Residents who place piles of brush at curbside for pickup, but <br />996 fail to contact the Public Works office to schedule the pickup shall be charged two times (2X) <br />997 the normal rate. NOTE: Brush on state highways shall be put near right-of-way or an <br />998 accessible driveway. <br />999 <br />i oo0 12. Curbside: Refers to that portion of the public right-of-way or private property adjacent to <br />1001 paved or traveled City roadways (including alleys). Any item(s) placed at curbside or on city <br />1002 right-of-way is assumed to be placed for collection, a fee may be charged for items removed in <br />1003 accordance with the ordinance. <br />1004 <br />1005 13.
