"ARTICLE IV. <br />FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE FEES <br />Sec. 12-55. Service and Fees. <br />The City of Paris shall assess and collect fees for certain services rendered by <br />the Fire Department. The fees for use of equipment and supplies set out in this <br />Article shall be assessed and collected when such equipment and/or supplies are <br />used in connection with the following events or incidents: <br />1. Vehicle fires, <br />2. Vehicle accidents, <br />3. Hazardous material spills or releases, and <br />4. Rescues or rescue attempts at low water crossings. <br />Sec. 12-56. Fee Collection. <br />(a) The owner or occupant of the motor vehicle to which the Paris Fire <br />Department provides fire and/or rescue services (the "responsible party") shall pay <br />the cost of such service; provided, however, no resident of the City of Paris shall be <br />charged or billed for these services. <br />(b) The Fire Department or its authorized billing company shall send an <br />invoice to the responsible party for the cost of the services provided. Fees assessed <br />for fire and rescue services as provided in this Article are due and payable by the <br />responsible party within twenty (20) days of receipt of an invoice from the Fire <br />Department or its authorized billing and collection company. <br />(c) The Fire Chief or designee shall keep records of the costs incurred in <br />performing fire and rescue services and shall coordinate with other departments of <br />the City as necessary to collect the fees authorized by this Article. <br />Sec. 12-58. Schedule of Fees. <br />The following fees shall be assessed and collected for the use of apparatus, <br />tools, equipment and materials in the provision of fire and rescue services: <br />APPARATUS <br />Price <br />Engine 1- <br />Class A <br />$450.00 <br />Engine 2- <br />Class A <br />450.00 <br />Engine 3- <br />Class A <br />450.00 <br />Engine 4- <br />Class A <br />450.00 <br />66 <br />
