Paris Visitors and Convention Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 19, 2010 <br />Page 2 <br />The second funding request was from Juanita and Richard Miller with the <br />Roxton Rallye de Paris that will be held in 2011. <br />Based off the scoring criteria, this event was scored in at 73% with a total <br />funding of $1825.00. The sub-committee made a recommendation to fund this <br />event at $1825.00. The recommendation was approved on a motion made by <br />Mike Patterson and seconded by Roy Gwinn. <br />Future Projects and Plans include the Holiday in Paris Shop Local $10,000 Give-a- <br />way; and the 5th Annual Holiday in Paris the first two weekends of December. <br />Becky Semple reported that a concretive effort is underway to look for new <br />conventions and meetings to host in Paris. <br />Mindy Moree reported on the International Group Travel Trip to Paris, France <br />March 12 through 20, 2011. This delegation will pursue Paris, France as a sister <br />city with Paris, Texas. <br />Roy Gwinn reported on future events from the Breakfast Optimist at Woodall <br />Field. On Memorial Day weekend, 2011, Paris will host 18 girl's baseball teams <br />15 and under and 13 and under.
