TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS <br />HOME PROGRAM <br />HOME CONTRACT # 1001224 <br />EXHIBIT B <br />THE APPLICASLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS <br />CITY OF PARIS, <br />A POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />Administrator shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations applicable to <br />the activities and performances rendered by Administrator under this contract, including but not <br />limited to the laws and the regulations specified in Sections I through IV of this Exhibit B. <br />1. CIVIL RIGHTS <br />In addition to The Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. §3601 et seq. and implementing regulations <br />at 24 C.F.R. Part 100), specific federal requirements are set forth in 24 C.F.R. Part 5 <br />II. LEAD-BASED PAINT <br />Lead-Based Paint Poisoning Prevention Act, 42 U.S.C. §4821 et seq. and 24 C.F.R. Part 35 <br />III. ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS <br />The environmental effects of each activity carried out with HOME fiinds must be assessed <br />in accordance with the provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42, <br />U.S.C. §4321 et. seq.) and the related authorities listed in HUD's implementing regulations <br />at 24 C.F.R. parts 50 and 58. <br />IV. ACQUISITION/RELOCATION <br />The Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970, 42 <br />U.S.C. §4201 - 4655 and 49 C.F.R.
