PROPOSED GOALS & OBJECTIVES: <br /> ♦ The applicant must provide specific goals and objectives for the project that are consistent with the proposal. <br /> The goals should reflect the overall impact that you intend the project to attain. <br /> ♦ The objectives should explain how the goal will be accomplished. The activities described should support <br /> the goal and be Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic, and Time-oriented. <br /> ♦ The applicant must include a goal that addresses auto theft, auto burglary, and crime prevention that you <br /> intend the project to attain. <br /> a. Describe the specific goals of the project. <br /> <br /> b. Describe the proposed activities of this project. Include any quantifiable data by which project <br /> activities can be measured. <br /> c. Describe how the project will impact the stated problem. <br /> d. Describe the functions of significant personnel involved. <br /> e. Describe proposed plan for auto theft crime prevention, education and training. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 3. FUNCTIONS OF PROPOSED PROJECT: <br /> The functions of the project should: <br /> <br /> ♦ Identify the target population, the estimated number of persons to be served, and the service <br /> needs to be met by this project. <br /> ♦ Describe the applicant's experience or qualifications. <br /> ♦ Describe how this project will cooperate/coordinate activities with other appropriate <br /> agencies/projects. <br /> <br /> ♦ Describe in what way (if any) is this project innovative and what methods taken to assure that the <br /> project demonstrates cross-cultural awareness in all project activities and in its staffing and <br /> training. <br /> <br /> <br /> 4. EVALUATION DESIGN: <br /> ♦ The program evaluation should indicate how the applicant will assess the success of the project <br /> and the extent to which the strategy achieved the project's goals and objectives. <br /> <br /> a. Describe the design of a plan for local evaluation of this project. <br /> b. Cite relevant data that will be used to measure the effectiveness of this project. <br /> c.
