<br /> <br /> <br /> Scope of Work - Asbestos Abatement Irerracon <br /> Grand Theatre m 21 Lamar Avenue, Paris, Texas <br /> April 14, 2011 in Terracon Project No. 94107645 <br /> <br /> First Key Inspection: <br /> <br /> Inspection of Work Area Prior to Start of Removal: Removal operations shall not <br /> proceed until the CONSULTANT has completed inspection of the Work Area <br /> preparations and until all discrepancies noted have been corrected. <br /> <br /> Second Key Inspection: <br /> <br /> Inspection During Removal: Removal Work shall not be conducted unless the <br /> CONSULTANT is on the Project site. Daily inspection of the Work Area and Work <br /> practices will be conducted; upon discovery and report of a discrepancy the <br /> CONTRACTOR shall immediately stop Work and correct the discrepancy. <br /> <br /> Third Key Inspection: <br /> <br /> Inspection of Work Area After Completion of Removal Work but Prior to Encapsulation <br /> and Containment Disassembly: A visual inspection of the Work site and/or Containment <br /> <br /> areas and removal surfaces will be conducted at this point by the CONSULTANT and <br /> encapsulation and/or containment disassembly shall not proceed until discrepancies <br /> noted have been corrected. <br /> <br /> Fourth Key Inspection: <br /> <br /> Final Clearance: After encapsulation and final clean-up of the Work Area, but prior to <br /> removal of Critical Barriers, the CONSULTANT will conduct a visual inspection. <br /> <br /> Final Key Inspection: <br /> <br /> Project Closeout Inspection: A final inspection will be conducted by the CONSULTANT <br /> after the CONTRACTOR has removed all barrier tape, drop-cloths, equipment, and <br /> supplies. A project "Punch List" will be provided of any items requiring correction or <br /> completion. Punch List items shall be completed prior to issuance of final completion <br /> notice by the CONTRACTOR. <br /> <br /> <br /> Discrepancies or needed corrective measures observed by the CONSULTANT will be <br /> reported to the CONTRACTOR'S Superintendent on-site and shall be immediately <br /> corrected. <br /> <br /> The above inspections are not necessarily single events. Failed inspections will be re- <br /> conducted and time classified as retests and charged back to the CONTRACTOR in <br /> accordance with the project documents.
