SCOPE OF WORK - ASBESTOS ABATEMENT <br />Grand Theatre <br />21 Lamar Avenue <br />Paris, Texas <br />Terracon Project No. 94107645 <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />The work will consist of the abatement of asbestos containing materials identified within <br />the scope of work. The asbestos abatement design is dated April 11, 2011. <br />2.0 MATERIAL DESCRlPTION AND QUANITITIES <br />Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the <br />Contract can be summarized as including removal and disposal of asbestos-containing <br />materials associated with: <br />Texture Associated with Wall Plaster - assumed asbestos containing material <br />12" x 12" Floor tile/floor tile mastic - assumed asbestos containing material <br />Exterior Stucco/Plaster - 2% Chrysotile asbestos <br />Exterior Flooring/Mastic (beneath marble tile) - 5% Chrysotile asbestos <br />Quantities listed are estimates only. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for verifying <br />quantity estimates prior to submission of bid. The CONTRACTOR will perform work for <br />materials and locations indicated, regardless of actual quantities, and no increase in <br />Contract amount will be allowed for quantity adjustment. <br />Exterior Front FaCade (see attached drawinq) <br />Exterior Stucco/Plaster ......................................................................500 sq. ft. <br />Exterior Fover (see attached drawinq) <br />Flooring/Mastic (beneath marble tile) ....................................................170 sq. ft. <br />First Floor - Lobbv/Small Office Area (see attached drawing) <br />Texture Associated with Wall Plaster ...............1,950 sq. ft. <br />12" x 12" Floor tile/floor tile mastic ......1,650 sq. ft. <br />- ~,~ireLio~~. ~ <br />
