Regular Council Meeting <br />August 22, 2011 <br />Page 8 <br />At 7:18 p.m. Mayor Hashmi recessed City Council and at 7:25 p.m. Mayor Hashmi <br />reconvened City Counci] into open session. <br />20. Deliberate on presentation from Stan McKee regarding Oncor's Undergound Cost <br />Recovery Factor (UCRF). <br />City Engineer Shawn Napier said the City of Paris had been exploring the option of <br />placing the current overhead utilities underground in conjunction with the next sidewalk <br />replacement project along Clarksville Street. <br />Stan McKee gave a presentation on the cost oP underground utilities and in summary <br />explained that the additional residential monthly cost would be $.27 and the additional monthly <br />cost for commercial users would be $9.00 for the initial project. <br />21. Deliberate and act on RESOLUTION NO. 2011-06$: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF TAX <br />DELINQUENT PROPERTY BEING 0.86 ACRE, MORE OR LESS, SITUATED IN <br />THE FRANCIS MORRISON HEADRIGHT SURVEY, ABSTRACT 592, PARIS, <br />LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, RECORDED IN VC?LUME 123, PAGE 281, DEED OF <br />RECORDS OF LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />PEDC Executive Director Steve Gilbert said that the foreclosed property was contiguous <br />to the Industrial Park. Mr. Gilbert also said PEDC wished to purchase the property and was <br />asking all of the taxing entities to consent to the sale of the property. <br />A Motion to sell the property to PEDC for the amount of property taxes owed on the <br />property was made by Council Member Pickle and seconded by Council Member McCarthy. <br />Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br />22. Deliberate and act on RESOLUTION NO. 201l-069: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COLJNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING THOMAS E. HUNT, III <br />AS MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE AND STEPHANIE HARRIS AS ASSOCIATE <br />MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE FOR THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING <br />AN EFFECTNE DATE. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Council Member McCarthy and seconded by <br />Council Member Pickle. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br />23. Deliberate and act on RESOLUTION NO. 2011-070: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO 911 <br />_1, 12 <br />
