ORDINANCE NO. 2003-009 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THF. EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 11.316 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AS REQUESTED BY PETITION OF THE OWNERS THEREOF; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL F'i1TURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHT S AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY UF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF OItDINPiNCES 1N CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVF. DATE. WHEREAS, a petition of annexation lias been duly signed and acknowledged by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following .izscriheci territory, to-wit: Being all that certain tract of land situated in the City of P;iris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Wesley Askins Survey; Abstract No. 7, a part of the 100.00 acre tract of land conveyeci to D. Wayne Brown, et al., by deed recorded in Volume 939, Page 31 of th.e I amar County R:.al Property Records, and a pari of the 121.76 acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et al., by deed recorded in Volume 949, Page 296 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, and beinb further described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin found at the Southeast corner of Lot 9, and being in the North line oi Lot 8, Blxk D, of T'he Hills No. 2 as sliown by plat recorded in Envelope 364-D of the Lamar County P!at Records; THENCE Norfh 3$° 54' 2?"
