THENCE South 64° 08'23" East a distance of 420.41 feet to an iron pin <br />set for corner in the East line of said Easement; <br />THENCE South 58° 32'57" West a distance of 630.37 feet to an iron pin <br />found at Northeast corner of Lot 11, Block A, of The Hills No. 1 as shown by <br />plat recorded in Envelope 364-D of the Lamar County Plat Records, said pin <br />being in the West boundary line of said North Hills Drive; <br />THENCE South 55° 43'26" West a distance of 60.00 feet to an iron pin <br />found at the Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block D, said The Hills No. 1, said pin <br />being in the West boundary line of said North Hills Drive; <br />THENCE South 51 ° 05'37" West a distance of 516.09 feet to an iron pin <br />found at the Northeast corner of Lot 5, Block D, said The Hills No. 1; <br />THENCE South 56° 46' 15" 201.00 feet to an iron pin found at the <br />Northeast corner of Lot 8 and the Northwest corner of Lot 7, Block D, said The <br />Hills No. 1; <br />THENCE South 51 ° 05'37" West a distance of 117.11 feet to the place of <br />beginning, and containing 11.316 acres of land; and, <br />WHEREAS, said iract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the current city limits of the <br />city of Paris, Texas, and is not more than one-half (1 /2) mile in width; and, <br />WHEREAS, said petition fully conformed with the requirements of Section 6 of the <br />Charter of the City of Paris and Section 43.028 of the Local Government Code; and, <br />WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the l Oth day of February, <br />2003; and, <br />WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the same, the <br />City Council adopted Resolution No. 2003-026 granting such petition to annex said territory into <br />the city of Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all <br />things approved. <br />Section 2. That the following described property, to-wit: <br />Being all that certain tract of land situated in the City of Paris, Lamar <br />County, Texas, a part of the Wesley Askins Survey, Abstract No. 7, a part of the <br />100.00 acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et al., by deed recorded <br />in Volume 939, Page 31 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, and a part <br />of the 121.76 acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et al., by deed <br />recorded in Volume 949, Page 296 of the Lamar County Real Property Records, <br />and being further described as follows: <br />
