<br />Situated about 3 miles Southerly from the City of Paris, Lamar County,
<br />Texas, being a part of the George Bason Survey, Abstract No. 58, being a part of
<br />an 87.45 acre tract of land conveyed Blake Lee by deed dated May 1, 1939,
<br />recorded in Volume 251, Page 164, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and
<br />being more particularly described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at an iron pin set for corner in the West Boundary Line of a
<br />public road, at the present Northeast corner of said 87.45 acre tract;
<br />THENCE South 00 Deg. 31 Min. East a distance of 872.2 feet along the
<br />West Boundary Line of said public road to a point;
<br />THENCE South 89 Deg. 37 Min. West a distance of 2,946.1 feet to a
<br />point;
<br />THENCE North 44 Deg. 36 Min. East a distance of 129.8 feet along a
<br />fence line to an iron pin set for a corner;
<br />THENCE North 24 Deg. 33 Min. East a distance of 294.5 feet along a
<br />fence line to an iron pin set for corner;
<br />THENCE North 39 Deg. 16 Min. East a distance of 666.7 feet along a
<br />fence line to an iron pin set for corner at the Northwest corner of said 87.45 acre
<br />tract;
<br />THENCE North 89 Deg. 37 Min. East a distance of 2,302.7 feet along a
<br />fence line and along or near the North Boundary Line of the Bason Survey to the
<br />place of beginning, containing 52.88 acres of land. Being the same property
<br />conveyed Delmar-West Lamar Independent School District by deed recorded in
<br />Volume 693, Page 133, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas,
<br />be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and that boundary limits
<br />of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, extended to include the above-
<br />described territory, and the same shall hereafter be included within the tenitorial limits of the City
<br />of Paris, and that said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be entitled to all of
<br />the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, and shall be bound
<br />by the acts and ordinances of the City of Paris.
<br />Section 2. The above-described territory is hereby zoned Public Lands and Institution
<br />District (PLI) upon annexation as provided for in Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
<br />Paris, Texas.
<br />Section 3. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the City of Paris
<br />that the sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses, and phrases of this ordinance are severable, and
<br />if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, or section of this ordinance shall be declared
<br />unconstitutional or invalid by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction,
<br />such unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses,
<br />sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by
