ORDINANCE NO. 99-025 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR <br />THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF <br />APPROXIMATELY 150 ACRES, MORE OR LESS; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY <br />AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS <br />AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE <br />INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS; <br />AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY. <br />WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each and <br />every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: <br />Tract OWb-f& Q rd• q°f ' D 3C <br />Situated about 10 miles North from the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and <br />State of Texas, being a part of the S.M. Fulton Survey, being a part of a 40 acre <br />tract of land conveyed T. R. Nelson by Lester Mullins, et ux, by deed dated <br />December 28, 1940, and recorded in Volume 258, Page 476, Deed Records, Lamar <br />County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pipe for corner in the West Boundary Line of said <br />40 acre tract of land and at the Northwest corner of a 15 acre tract of land <br />conveyed Powderly Common School District No. 83 by deed recorded in Volume <br />259, Page 279, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, said point also being in the <br />East Boundary Line of Old U.S. Highway No. 271; <br />THENCE North 17 Deg. 39 Min. East along the East Boundary Line of <br />said Highway a distance of 270.5 feet to an iron stake for corner in the South <br />Boundary Line of a 15 acre tract of land conveyed Mr. Rosa Payne by deed <br />recorded in Volume 265, Page 51, of said Deed Records; <br />THENCE North 89 Deg. 49 Min. East a distance of 467 feet to an iron pin <br />for corner; <br />THENCE South 10 Deg. 50 Min. West a distance of 234 feet to an iron pin <br />for corner; <br />THENCE South 39 Deg. 52 Min. West a distance of 36 feet to an iron pin <br />for corner; <br />THENCE South 89 Deg. 49 Min. West a distance of 481.9 feet to the place <br />of beginning and containing 2.852 acres of land, more or less. <br />
