<br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
<br />BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND
<br />THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF
<br />ACRES, MORE OR LESS, WHICH IS LESS THAN TEN PER CENT (10%)
<br />OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS,
<br />WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE
<br />PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
<br />AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY.
<br />WHEREAS, public hearings before the City Council of
<br />the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested
<br />persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on
<br />the proposed annexation of the following described property:
<br />A tract of land located in Lamar County,
<br />Texas being a part of the Reddin Russell Survey
<br />#786, and being part of the 94.07 acre tract of
<br />land willed to Estelle Council and being shown
<br />in an AFfidavit as recorded in Volume 305, Page
<br />455 of the Deed of Records of said county and
<br />state, and further described as follows:
<br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the North
<br />line of Stone A?venue in the City of Paris and
<br />the East Right-og-way of U.S. Highway 271;
<br />THENCE S 85 51' E, 215.0 feet along the
<br />North line of Stone Avenue to the true point
<br />of beginning of the tract herein described;
<br />THENCE continue along said North line S
<br />85051 E, 127.7 feet to an PI in said North
<br />line;
<br />THENCE continuing with said North line
<br />S 59°40' E, 454.5 feet to a point;
<br />THENCE N4° g1' W, 817.1 feet to a point;
<br />THENCE N 50 30' W, 501.6 feet to the
<br />Southeast corner of a tract conveyed to the
<br />North Paris Baptist Church.by deed recorded in
<br />Volume 571, Page 551;
<br />THENCE w~th the South line of said.church
<br />property N 89 31' W, 370.1 feet to said East
<br />right-of-way of Highway 271;
<br />THENCE with said right-of-way along a curve
<br />to the SE having a radius of 11,434 feet, a
<br />distance of 552.9 f_eet to the Southwest corner
<br />of a tract conveyed to Abbcos, Inc, by deed
<br />recorded in Volume 631; Page 291;
<br />THENCE along the South line of said Abbcos
<br />Tract, S 85° E, 250 feet to the Southease corner
<br />of said Abbcos 8ract;
<br />THENCE S 4 21' I:, 325 feet along the current
<br />City Limits line to the point of beginning contain-
<br />ing 13,15 acres, more or less,
<br />was held at Paris, Texas, on the 6th day of July, 1982,
<br />in Special Session convened, at 6:00 o'clock P,M., 250
<br />feet East of Fashions of Paris at the North boundary
<br />line of Stone Ave., Paris, Texas; and on the 12th day
<br />of July, 1982, in Regular Session convened, at 7:00
<br />o'clock P,M., in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
<br />Texas, which dates are not more than forth (40) nor
<br />less than L-wenty (20) days prior to the institution
<br />of annexation proceedings; and,
