~ ORDINANCE NO. 1964 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ExTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 50.31 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LVHICH IS LESS TI-iAN TEN PER CENT (10%) OF TI:iE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRTTORY LIES AAJACFNT TO A1VD AATOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TE3CAS. WHIIZEAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described property: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and described as follows: Beginning in the present City Limits Line that now exists in the Sou1;h Right-of-Way Line of State Highway Loop 286 N.W., as described in Annexation Ordinance No. 1617, dated February 11, 1963, Tract #2, said point being 1996.4 feet more or less in a Southwest direction " with the South Right-of-Way Line of Loop 286 from the Southwest corner of the Leg of State Highway F.M. 79, and also being the Northwest corner of a tract of land conveyed by the City of Paris to the Paris Texas Industrial Foundation, Inc., now owned by the Southeastern ~ Rubber.Company, of which the Foundation Tract is recorded in Volume 360, Page 238, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas. THENCE South 220 00 East with the West Boundary Line of the Rubber Company Tract 874.8 feet to the Southwest Corner of said tract in the Nori:h Line of a 50 foot strip of land reserved by the Tndustrial Foundation for a railroad spur. THENCE North 68°00 East with the South Boundary Line of the Rubber Company Tract 1054.5 feet more or less to a point in the,North Line of the Right-of-Way of the Industrial Spur, said point being an extension of the West Boundary Line of Tract of Land owned by L. B. B. Corporation, and of which a description of said tract is recorded in Volume 360, Page 321, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas. THENCE South 51 feet more or less to the South Right- of-Way Line of the Industrial Spur, and being the North- west corner of the L. B. B. Tract and continuing on South 288.5 :~eet to the Southwest Corner of said L. B. B. Tract and the Northwest Corner of a second L. B. B. Tract of Land described in Volume 367, Page 491, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, and continuing on South with the West Boundary Line of the L. B. B. Second Tract for an additional 213 feet to the Southwest corner of the L. B. B. Second Tract, a corner in the North Boundary Line of a tract of land now owned by the Paris Industrial Foundation. THENCE East with 1:he South Boundary Line of the L. B. B. Second Tract 710 feet to a point 5 feet West of the West Boundary Line of 19th Street N. W. (F..M. 79).
