5ection 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent to and adjoining the City of Paris, Texas, is hereby added and aunexed to the City of Paris, Texas9 and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be in- cluded within the boundary limits of the City of Paris.? Texas, and the preseni; boundary li►nits of said cii;y, at the various points contiguous to the area here- inafter described, are altered and amended so as i:o include said area within the corporai:e limits of the City of Paris, to-wit: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of the I. Cruise Survey, and being located on the East Side of the Gordon Country Club Road and North of the Old Bonham Road, and described as follows: Beginczing at a point in the E. B. Line of the Gordon Lake Road~ which point is approximai;ely 1140 feet South of the South Boundary Line of U.S. Highway 82 West, said point being the Southern inter- section of the present City Limi.t Line with ttie E. B. Line of the Gordon Lalce Road; Thence South with the E. B. L'zne of the Gordon Lake Road, approximately 1972 feet to the intersection of the E. B. Line of the Gordon Lake Road and the N. B, Line of the Old Bontiam Road; Thence East with the North Boundary L?ne of the Ol.d Bonham Road approximately 690 feet to the present City Limi.t Line. Section 2. The above described territory and area so annexed shall be a part of the City of Parisa Texas, and the properi:y so added hereby shall bear its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Paris, Texas9 and the in- habitants thereof shall be entitled to alX of the righi:s and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordiriances, resolutions, and regulations of the City of Paris, Texas. That the above property shall be annexed under the zoning classification of Agricultural as is provided for under Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 of the Cii;y of F'aris, Texas, Passed and approved this the 27th day of June, A.
