<br />heard on the proposed annexai;ion of the followi.ng described -territory:
<br />Situated in the Gounty of Lamar and State of Texas, and being
<br />a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, and being a part of a tract of
<br />land described in a deed dated August 19, 19642 from Lamar
<br />Truelcing Company to R. M. Ginsberg, and recorded in Boolc 419,
<br />Page 115, Lamar County Deed Records, and being clescribed by
<br />metes and bounds as follows:
<br />Beginning at a point where the South Boundary Line of the
<br />R. M. Ginsberg tract intersects the present Gity Limit Line North
<br />East of the Gity of Paris;
<br />Thence Easi: with the South Boundary Line of the Ginsberg
<br />~ tract, 820 feet to the S. E. Corner thereof;
<br />Thence North with the E. B. Line of said Ginsberg tract,
<br />1976 feet to the North East Corner of said tract;
<br />Thence West with the N. B. Line of the Ginsberg tract,
<br />1278 feet to the Nor1:h W est Corner of said tract;
<br />Thence South to a point where the West Boundary Line of
<br />the Ginsberg tract intersects the present City Limit Line North
<br />E'ast of the Gity of Paris, a distance of 1405 fee1:.
<br />Being all of said Ginsberg tract which is not now within the
<br />City Limits of the City of Paris.
<br />was held at Paris, Texas, on the 23rd day of May, A. D., 1966, which date is
<br />not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior i;o the institui:ion of annexation
<br />proceedings; and, •
<br />WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper
<br />having general circulation in the City of Pari.s, Texas, and in the aUove described
<br />territory, on the 12th day of May, A. D., 1966, which date is not more than
<br />twenty nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing; and,
<br />WHEREA5, the population of the City of Paris, Texas, is in excess of
<br />52 000 and less than 25, 000 inhabitants; and, ,
<br />WHEREAS, the above described territory li.es within the extraterritorial
<br />jurisdiction of the City of Paris.. Texas; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the above described territory lies adjacent to and adjoins
<br />the City of Paris, Texas; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the above described territory contains approximately
<br />fifty-eight acres; and,
<br />' WHEREAS, the above described territory coni;ains less than ten per cent
<br />(101o) of the present acreage contained in the corporal:e limits of the City of
<br />Paris, Tex.as; NO'Ny THEREFORE,
