Sectian 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent to and adjoining the City of Paris, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City of Paris, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be in- cluded within the boundarylimits of the City of Paris, Texas, and the present boundary limits of said city, at the various points contiguous to the area here- inafter described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corpo rate limits of the City of Paris, to -wit: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, and being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, and being a part of a tract of land described in adeed dai;ed Augusi: 19, 1964, from Lam-c-ir Trucking Company 'I;o R. M. Ginsberg, and recorded in Boolc 419, Page 115, Lamd.r County Deed Records, and being described by metes and bounds as follow5: Beginning at a point where the Soui;h Boundary Line of the R.M. Gi_nsberg tract intersects the present City Limit Line North East of the City of Paris; Thence East with the Soutli Boundary Line of the Gi.nsUerg tract, 820 feet i:o the S. E. Corner thereof; Thence Nori:h with the E. B. Line of said Gi.nsberg tract, 1976 feet to the North East Corner of said i:ract; Thence W(-- st with the NoB. Line of the Ginsberg 'tracta 1278 feet to the North Wast Corner of said tract; Thence South to a point where the W est Iioundary Line of the Gi.nsberg tract intersects the present City Limit Line North East of the City of Pa.ris, a distance of 1405 feet. Being all of said Gi.nsberg tract which is not now within the City Litnits of ttie City of Paris. Section 2. The above described territory and area so annexed shall be a part of the City of Paris: Texas., and the property so a3ded here'ay shall Uear its pro rata part of the taxes levied by the City of Paris, Tex.as, and the in- habitants thereof sha.ll be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of atl the citizens and shall be bound by tlie aci:s, ordinances, resolutions, and regulations of the City of Paris, Texas.
