AN ORDINANGE ANNEXING, ADMiTTING AND iNCORPORATiNG ADDITIONAL TERRITORY IN LAMA.R COUNTY, TEXAS, LYING ADJACENT TO THE CiTY OF PARIS, TEXAS, INTO AND16 A PART OF SAID GITY OF PARIS, EX'I'EN:DING THE BOUNDARY LiMITS OF TH.E CiTY OF PARIS SO AS TO INCLUDE AND EMBRACE 5AID ADJACEN T TERRiTORYf CON- FERRING~ ALL RiGHTS, PRIVILEGES AND IMMUNITIES OF CITIZENSHIP UPON THE INHABITANTS OF S&ID TERRITORY, EXTENDING THE BOUNDA- RIES OF WARD ONE SO AS TO EMBRACE AND INCLUDE ALL OF 5AID TERRITORY AND INCORPOR.ATING THE SAIvIE IN 5AID WARD ONE OF SAID CITY, PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDiNANGES, RULES, REGULATIONS, AND LAWS IN EFFECT IN THE CITY OF PARIS AND THAT MAY HERE.- AFTER BE PASSED IN FULL FORCE AND EFF'EGT iN 5AID TERRITORY AFTER PASSAGE OF TFiIS ORDINANCE, INSZ'RUCTING THE CITY ENGINEER 'I'O MAKE A SURVEY I'IXING AND ESTABLI5HING THE BOUNDARY LINiIT5 OF SAID GITY IN ACCORDANCE HEREWITH AND TO CONSTRUCT A COMPLETE MAP OF SUCH TERRITORY 5HOWING 5TREETS, ALLEYS, LOT5, TRACTS AND PRUPERTY OWNER5 AND TO FILE SAME , WITH THE CITY CLERK AND TO CORREGT THE MA.P OF THE CITY OF PARIS SO AS TO ADD 5UCH TERRITORY THERETO; AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY-AS5ES50R. AND COLLEC TOR OF TAXE5 TO LIST ALL PROPERTY THEREIN AND PLACE SAME ON THE TAX ROLLS OF THE CITY OF PARI5 AND HEREA,FTER A5SESS SAME FOR TAXES IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the following deacribed territory in Larnar County, Te.~.ae, lying adjacent to the present boundary limits of the City of Paris be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Paris and admitted into the corporation of auch City, and is hereby ma.de and constituted a part and portion of the City of Paris and the Boundary Limits of the Gity of Paris are hereby extended so as to include and embrace said territory and ta-conform to same as herein set out, to-wit: Located wittnn the County of Lamar and 5tate of Texas, and beginning at the intersection of the North Boundary Line of the Texa.a and Pacific Railway Right of Way and the W. B. Line of 24th Street, S. E., in the City of Paris; Thence West with the North Boundary Line of the Texas and Pacific Railroad Right of Way and the South Boundary Line of College Heigtits Addition, which South Boundary Line is the South Boundary Line of the present City Limits of the City of Paris, approximately 1422 feet to a point immediately North of a 20 acre tract owned by Clyde and Edmond A. Parham, and being a tract proposed as a new addition in the name of Lamesa Heights Addition; Thence South to the North West Corner of said tract; Thence South with the W. B. Line of said 20 acre tract, 572 feet to the N. B. Line of the Right of Way of the Paris and Mt. Pleasant Railroad; Thence East with the N. B. Line of said Paris and Mt. Pleasant Right of Way approximately 1433 feet to the South East Corner of said Parha.m Tract, being the W. B. Line of 24th Street, S. E, ; Thence North approximately 668 feet to the interaection of the W. B. Line of 24th Street, S. E. and the S. B. Line of the Texa.s and Pacific Right of Way, and continuing North across the Texas and Pacific Right of Way approximately 100 feet to the point of beginning.
