53 - Plug Stub at Manhole
A constructed plug at a manhole leaks or is deteriorated. This rehabilitation
method addresses plugging the line to eliminate possible I/I.
54 - Line Cleaning - Medium Deposition
This rehabilitation method indicates up to 20% of pipe depth contains debris and
should be cleaned.
55 - Line Cleaning - Heaw Deposition
T'his rehabilitation method indicates more than 20% of pipe depth contains debris
or that debris is hard-packed and should be cleaned.
56 - Remove Mainline Blockage
This rehabilitation method indicates a blockage exists in the line and should be
removed.
57 - Flapgates, Project Engineer to Determine
This rehabilitation code is a special code for end-of-line manholes with flapgates
installed in the outgoing line. This rehab is left to the Project Engineer to
determine the course of action, hence no cost or UI removal is associated.
691 - Clean, Televise, and Repair Mainline
This lump sum cost is used as a broad generalization when defects are known to
exist and includes the cost of cleaning, televising, and sealing leaks with chemical
grout injection, as described in rehabilitation method 40.
692 - Construct Manhole, Test, and Grout Mainline
This rehabilitation method is similaz to 40, but with the added cost of
constructing a new manhole on segments which have no upstream access
structure.
ADS Environmental Services, Inc.
VI-21
