Maintenance Rehabilitation Codes
91 - Remove Flush Valve from Manhole
Older systems sometimes had a water line and valve installed in selected
manholes located on lines with low flows. By turning on the water, additional
flow was created to flush the line. These old installations should be removed.
92 - Other Utilities Pass throu Manhole
In older systems, it is not uncommon to find other utilities passing through a
manhole. These lines can pose a safety hazard to workers entering the manhole,
become UI sources, and create dangerous conditions for the public if the utilities
include water or gas conduits.
ADS Environmental Services, Inc.
VI-26
