Regular Meeting City Council <br />June 14, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br />THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN <br />AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF <br />THE ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 3(SF-3) WITH SPECIFIC <br />USE PERMIT (39) MOBILE HOMES SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR <br />A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, was read. <br />Mayor Fendley indicated that the Planning and Zoning Commission had <br />approved this 8-0. Councilman Bell made a motion for approval which was <br />seconded by Councilwoman Fisher. The motion passed 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Mayor Fendley indicated there was a conflict of interest on the next item with <br />Councilman Wilson and called for a motion to excuse him from the meeting. <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bell, seconded by Councilman Guest, and <br />passed 6 ayes, 0 nays. Councilman Wilson exited the meeting. <br />Mayor Fendley opened the public hearing to consider the petition of Don <br />Wilson for a change in zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF- <br />2) <br />to a Commercial District (C) on Lots 2 and 2-A, City Block 266. <br />Will Beard appeared in behalf of Walnut Creek Business Park, which owns the <br />property.
