"Section 26-2 Appointment of assistant chief of police. <br />In accordance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code, Section 143.014, <br />the Chief of Police of the City of Paris sha11, in accordance with the aforesaid Civil Service Law, <br />appoint the individual within the Police Department to serve as Assistant Chief of Police. " <br />Section 3.
