After discussion, a motion was made by Councilwoman Fisher, seconded by Councilman Wilson, to deny passage of a resolution for the accepting the bids to purchase Self-Contained Breathing Apparatuses for use in the Fire Department. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Resolution No.125, declaring surplus and approving the sale and transfer of property described as Lot 7, Block 90-A, being number 603 3rd N.W., to Paris Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit corporation, for purpose of developing housing for low income individuals and promoting community-based revitalization, was presented. A motion was made by Councilman Bell and was seconded by Councilwoman Fisher. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. Mayor Fendley called for a short break at 7:28 P.M. Mayor Fendley reconvened the meeting at 7:38 P.M. Resolution No. 126, approving and authorizing the execution of a contract for Public Health Services, TDH Document No. 7560022067A-2005 and approving and authorizing the execution of contract Change Notice No. 01, was presented. A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Guest, seconded by Councilman Wilson for approval of the resolution. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays.
