Jim Wright, 805 20th SE, spoke in favor of the petition stati g that this house is really important to his neighborhood, it is good for t e rats, the squirrels, the birds, the cats, the cats live off the rats-he w uld like to see it preserved for that reason. It is unoccupied 90% of th time. Arvin Starrett stated that this structure has been submitted t the Texas Historical Commission as one of the 13 most endangered pr perties in the City of Paris which would enable property owner financial assistance. There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared osed. 14. Consideration of and action on the petition of the Historic P eservation Commission for a change in zoning to include a Histor c Overlay District No.6 (HD) on Lot 3, City Block 248-B, being loca ed at 1970 Clarksville Street. Motion was made to approve as Historic Overlay District N . 6 (HD) by Bobby Myers, seconded by Benny Plata. Motion carried b a vote of 8 ayes and 0 nays. 15. Public Hearing to consider the petition of the Historic P eservation Commission for a change in zoning to include a Histo . c Overlay District No.7 (HD) on Lot 11, City Block 124, being loc ted at 429 Grand Avenue; Lots 13, 14, and 15, City Block 124, being 10 ated at 410 and 428 W. Kaufman; Lot 16, City Block 124, being locate at 440 W. Kaufman Street. The public hearing was declared open.
