Pi°eserztation by Befa Vaughmn regat•dirag saf'ery glass and tint, f Im options for the Histoi-ic <br />District. <br />Ben Vaughan presented tint film options for Historic District businesses and homes. Mr. <br />Vaughan stated the commission has discussed in the past exploring options for film to <br />help with utility cost in historic buildings. Mr. Vaughan presented a product to the <br />commission that would help cut energy cost; the film is applied directly to the inside of <br />the window glass and reflects infrared heat. Mr. Vaughan further stated caution should <br />be used because the material really heats up the glass significantly and old glass can <br />crack under the heat. The commission could make available the information to property <br />owners regarding options of using the film and publish this information to help property <br />owners. <br />4. Presentation by Britin Bostick of the proposed renovations to the Lamar County <br />Courthouse Parking Lot. <br />Britin Bostick presented the proposed Courthouse parking lot renovations to the <br />commission. Ms. Bostick presented the two options being considered by the Lamar <br />County Commissioners for the renovations. The first option would include removal of <br />the current parking lot on the north side and repave and restripe that area. The second <br />option was to make the north side a green area, with park benches, fountain, trees and <br />sidewalk area. <br />6. Future agenda items. <br />7.
