MASS CARE FEEDING THE SALVATION ARMY 1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Salvation Army, who will prepare and maintain annex a (human services) to this plan and supporting S~P'S. 2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: a) Perform emergency mass feeding b) Coordinate and conduct mass feeding with American red cross, Lamar county chapter, other departments, and volunteer groups. c. Emergency Public Information. Paris Police Department 1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Paris Police Department. The Paris Police Department information Officer will prepare and maintain Annex I (Emergency Public Information) to this plan and supporting SOP'S. 2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: a) Conduct on-going hazard awareness and public education programs. b) Compile and release information and instructions in coordination with EOC during emergency situations and responds to questions relating to emergency operations c) Provide information to the media and the public during emergency situations. d) Arrange for media briefings. d. Recovery. Community Development 1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the City of Paris Community Development. The Director of Community Development will prepare and maintain Annex J (Recovery) to this plan and supporting SOP'S. 2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: a) Establish and train a damage assessment team using local personnel. Coordinate the efforts of that team with state and federal damage assessment personnel who may be dispatched to assist us. 30
