<br />DRAFT <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />Breath alcohol test measures greater than .02 at re-test require <br />disciplinary action, up to and including termination. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Breath alcohol test measures of .04 or greater require disciplinary <br />action up to and including termination. <br /> <br />c. <br /> <br />the employee may request a blood alcohol test to confirm breath alcohol test <br />results; however, it must be requested at the time of the breath alcohol <br />testing. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />All unacceptable controlled substance screening resu1ts are: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />based upon established levels of intoxication and reported as a pass/fall. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />b. automatically reviewed by the Medical Review Officer. <br />When controlled substance results are unacceptable: <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />a Personnel Department representative will: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />coordinate the test confirmation. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />notify the supervisor of initial and confirming test results. <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />the supervisor will: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />immediately put the employee on administrative leave with pay until <br />written results of the test confirmation are received by the Personnel <br />Department. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />upon receipt of a positive confirmation result, determine appropriate <br />disciplinary action, up to and including termination. <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />When alternative testing results are unacceptable: <br /> <br />The same standards and consequences will apply as for other testing techniques <br />described in this subsection when test results are determined through a substitute <br />sampling technique, such as blood testing techniques. <br /> <br />58 <br /> <br />Rev. 10/27/04 <br />
