<br />7.03 <br /> <br />Unusual Accumulations Collection: In the event a Customer shall require <br />a collection and disposal of more than one (I) Bulky Waste item during <br />anyone (I) collection week, or collection of any other Solid Waste not <br />covered by this Agreement, then the Customer shall contact the City, <br />whereupon the City shall contact Contractor. Contractor shall provide <br />collection and disposal rates for such Unusual Accumulations. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />COLLECTION OPERATION: <br /> <br />8.01 <br /> <br />8.02 <br /> <br />8.03 <br /> <br />8.04 <br /> <br />8.05 <br /> <br />Hours of Oueration: Collection of solid waste shall begin no earlier than <br />7:00 A.M. and shall generally not extend beyond 6:00 P.M. No collection <br />shall be made on Sunday. <br /> <br />Hours of DisDosal: Contractor shall dispose of Residential Waste within <br />the operating hours of the LandfilL <br /> <br />Routes of Collection: Collection routes shall be established by the <br />Contractor as approved by City. City shall be provided route collection <br />maps and container locations. <br /> <br />Holidavs: The following shall be holidays for purposes of this Agreement: <br /> <br />New Year's Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Christmas Day <br /> <br />Contractor may decide to observe any or all of the above-mentioned <br />holidays by suspension of collection service on the holiday, but the <br />Contractor shall be responsible for providing make-up collection for <br />residential routes that occur on specified holidays. Make-up days shall be <br />the next collection day following the holiday. <br /> <br />ComDlaints: Customer complaints shall in the first instance be referred to <br />the City. Thereafter when referred by the City back to the Contractor, <br />such complaints shall be addressed by Contractor within 24 hours <br />(excluding Sundays) of receipt of such complaint and shall be promptly <br />resolved. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining a log of <br />complaints, and provide the City on a weekly basis, with copies of all <br />complaints indicating the date and hour of the complaint, nature of the <br />complaint, and the manner and timing of its resolution. Any missed <br />pickups (being defined as Contractor's failure to make a scheduled <br />collection at a Residential Unit, and not caused by any action or inaction <br />of a Customer, including, but not limited to, Customer's failure to timely <br /> <br />SOLID WASTE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Page 8 <br />
