Proclaination declaring the month of February as Operation Second Chance. <br />c. Proclamation declaring the month of February as Campaign E.P.I.D.E.M.I.C. <br />Month. <br />d. Proclamation declaring the inonth of February as Official Boy Scout Month. <br />Mayor Hashmi read each individual proclamation and presented the proclamations to the <br />appropriate organizations. <br />Reizular Agenda <br />6. Deliberate and act on the Preliminary Plat and Final Flat of Lots 1 and 2, Block B, <br />Morningside North #2 Addition, located in the 4200 Block of Lamar Avenue. <br />Subject to the City Engineer's recommendation, a Motion to approve the plats was made <br />by Council Member Pickle and seconded by Council Member Wright. Motion carried, 7 ayes - <br />0 nays. <br />7. Deliberate and act on the Final Plat of Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block A, Lamar Business Park <br />Addition, located in the 800 Block of Loop 286. <br />When inquired about curb/gutter, City Engineer Shawn Napier explained that Loop 286 <br />was not a city street, but that Stillhouse Road was a city street. <br />A Motion to approve the final plat was made by Council Member Pickle and seconded by <br />Council Member Wright. Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. <br />8. Deliberate and act on the Preliminary Plat of Lot l, Block A, Victory Baptist Church <br />Addition CB 316, located at 3155 Pine Mill Road. <br />A Motion to approve the plat was made by Council Member Pickle and seconded by <br />Council Meinber Wright. Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. <br />9. Presentation by Mayor Hashmi on fhe advantages/disadvantages of 4A/4B Corporation <br />designation; deliberate and provide direction to City Staff. <br />Mayor Hashmi gave a presentation outlining the disadvantages and disadvantages of <br />4A/4B Corporation including expending funds for projects. Mayor Hashmi said that the citizens <br />should be allowed to vote on this issue and he would like for it to be on the May ballot. Council <br />Members Frierson, Wright, and McCarthy all thought that it was too soon and wanted time to <br />' - 003 <br />
