May 9, 2005
Page 2
Lisa Wright stated that there was an error on the agenda
2735 Willow Bend.
pertaining to this variance–it stated that the request was for a 9 foot variance
from the side property line, it should have been a 4 foot variance from the side
lot line instead of 9 foot. The plat has an established 10 foot building line.
The typographical error created no problem with regard to approval; however,
because the Commission can approve less than what was stated on the
agenda without requiring new notice.
Mr. Whitten stated that the application had the signatures of the two (2)
adjoining property owners, Ronnie Jackson and Brad Pierce. Mr. Whitten said
that he discussed his plan with each and every neighbor. The room will be a
“He” room–a multi-purpose room with a tv and a desk.
5.Consideration of and action on the petition of Tommy Whitten to grant a
variance of Zoning Ordinance 1710, Sections 13-101 b. and c., for a 9 foot
variance from the side yard (which is located on a side street) and a 2 foot
variance from the back property line, on Lot 5, Block D, Oak Creek Phase I,
Motion to grant the variance was made by Kyle
located at 2735 Willow Bend.
McCarley, seconded by Howard Corriston.
