The Minutes were approved, as submitted, by a motion from Kenny Dority; <br />seconded by Doug Wehrman. Motion Carried 5-0. <br />Financial report for January, 2012 were reviewed. Staff fielded a number of questions regarding <br />line item charges. Bruce Carr asked that a Summary/Recap of the Initiative costs for last year and current <br />fiscal year be available by the April, 2012 Board meeting. The Financials were approved, as submitted, by a <br />motion from Bruce Carr; seconded by Rick Poston. Motion Carried 5-0. <br />Austin Trip. Doug Wehrman addressed those present to keep in mind that discussions in Executive <br />Session need to be kept in strictest confidence. To violate the Texas Open Meetings Act is considered a <br />Class B Misdemeanor. <br />Doug Wehrman spoke on the Team Paris visit to Austin. The Team made a huge impact in Austin. <br />Paris has never done anything like this in the past. We need to stay on the State level's "radar" for our <br />upcoming projects and our Business Plan Initiatives. He emphasized these type relationship building visits <br />need to happen two to three times a year. He was very proud to be a part of the "team". <br />44 <br />
