Center Street, <br />Paris, Texas with the following members present: <br /> <br />1. Reeves Hayter <br />2. Marshall Kent <br />3. Carl Lucas <br />4. Russell McCain <br /> <br />. 5. Bobby L. Myers <br />6. Barbara Forrest <br />7. Benny Plata <br /> <br />Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development, was also present. <br /> <br />"1. <br /> <br />"The-meeting was called to order by Chairman-Reeves Hayter. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (July 5, 2005, Regular <br />Meeting) Motion was made to approve the minutes by Bobby Myers, <br />seconded by Carl Lucas. Motion carried by a vote of 7 ayes. and 0 <br />nays. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider the petition of John Marc Tolson for a <br />. change in zoning from a Planned Develop.ment District (PD-a) - Retail <br />Shopping Center to a Planned Development District (PD-b) Housing <br />" Development or Community Unit Development (Assisted Living) on <br />Part of Lot 14, City Block 259 (+/- 3.55 acres), being located in the 700 <br />block of Collegiate Drive. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Marc Tolson with DaUer. Tolson. French Architects spoke in favor of <br />the petition stating that they would like to bring the next generation <br />of assisted living to Paris. The facility will be a one-story, 44,000 <br />square feet with 54 units and 60 beds with 14 beds in a secure <br />me~ory care unit.
