93-053 ORD CONTAINING HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED IN COP BELONGING TO VARIOUS OWNERS

WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that proper nctice was given to the owcler or owners of the structures hereinafter listed. That at said hearing on the 8th day of October, 1993, the Committee listed the structures involved and introduced pictures of the various portions of the structures and various portions of the premises involved and a list of discrepancies in the structures located thereon. That the Committee found that each of the hereinafter listed structures was in such state of deterioration and dilapidation as to create a serious fire hazard to life and property, and that each of said buildings was dilapidated and dangeraus to life and property and dangerous structures to life and property. That the owners of the property appeared before the Committee and requested time to repair the structures or the Committee found that the structures could be repaired. That it was the recommendation of the Committee that the structures be condemned or repaired and that the respective owners thereof be given the time to abate said nuisance by repair or removal as is set out in connection with each of such addresses, as follows: 741 9th Street N.W., 30 days to submit plan of Lot 7, City Block 86 renovation or demolish and remove. 504 lst Street N.W., 90 days to repair or Lot 4, City Block 78 demolish and remove. 1U99-1118-1130 West Shiloh, 30 days to submit plan for Lot l, City Block 86 repairs or to demolish ar,d remove, with 60 days to complete repairs. 1127 West Shiloh, 30 days to submit plan for Lot 25, City Block 84 repairs or to demolish and remove, with 60 days to complete repairs. 434 Zrid Street N.E., 30 days to produce deed to Lot 3, City Block 59 church or demolish and remove. 6i5 25th Street S.E., 30 days to make inside Lots 10-13, Brookside Add. repairs. 1020 5th Street S.E., 30 days to submit plan for Lot 16, City Block 160 repairs or to demolish and remove, with 60 days to complete repairs. Structures Behind 60 days to repair or 600-620 13th Street N.W., demolish and remove. Lot 14, City Block 84 2301 West Austin, 90 days to make necessary Lot 1, City Block 211 repairs. and it is so stated in the report of the Building Hazard Inspection Committee filed with the City Clerk of the City of Paris on the lst day of November, 1993; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has fully heard and con- sidered the testin7ony presented upon the hearing and a complete transcript of the testimony reported by the Building Hazard Inspection Cammittee; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT URDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF PARIS: -2-
