Definitions. <br /> <br /> Unless the context specifically iridicates <br /> otherwise, the following terms and phrases, as used <br /> in this article, shall have the meanings herein <br /> designated: <br /> Accidental Discharge - means an act or omis- <br /> sion through which waste or other substances are <br /> inadvertently discharged into water in the state. <br /> Act or the Act - The Federal Water Pollution <br /> Control Act, also known as the Clean Water Act, as <br /> amended, 33 USC 1251 et seq. <br /> <br /> Approval Authority - The administrator of the <br /> Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or the <br /> appropriate agency of the state. <br /> Authorized Representative of tndustrial User - <br /> <br /> (1) A principal executive officer of at least <br /> the level of vice president, if the industrial <br /> user submitting the reports is a corporation. <br /> (2) A general partner or proprietor if the <br /> industrial user is a partnership or sole <br /> proprietorship respectively. <br /> <br /> (3) A duly authorized representative of the <br /> individual designate, if such representative <br /> is responsible for the overall operation of <br /> the facility from which the indirect discharge <br /> ariginates. <br /> <br /> <br /> -3- <br />
