<br /> AN ORDINANCE CONTAININU A HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED
<br /> IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, BELONGING TO VARIOUS OWNERS,
<br /> AND AN ORDINANCE OF THE CiTY COUNCIL FINDING THE MATERIALS
<br /> RENIAINING ON THE PREMISES TU CONSTITUTE A NUISANCE AND TO BE
<br /> A FIRE HAZARD TO LIFE AND PROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO THE LIFE
<br /> AND WELFARE OF THE INHABI'I'ANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING
<br /> SAIB RUBBISH, LUMBER AND REFUSE FiZOM THE STRUCTURES TO BE
<br /> TORN DOWN ANB RENiOVED FROM. THE PREMISES IN ORDER TO ABATE
<br /> SUCH NUISANCE.
<br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was called to order by the
<br /> Mayor of the City of Paris, George Fisher, on the lOth day of
<br /> December, 1992, at 6:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Room,
<br /> City Hall, ir the City of Paris, Texas; and,
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building
<br /> Hazard Inspection Committee fixed a date for hearing on the
<br /> resolutions referred to the Committee by the City Council on
<br /> the 19th day of October, 1992, and said Committee fixed said
<br /> hearing at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on the 30th day of November,
<br /> 1992, and the hearing was had thereon. That proper notice
<br /> was given to the owner or owners of the structures located at
<br /> the following addresses:

<br /> That at said hearing the Committee listed the structures
<br /> involved and introduced pictures of the various portions of
<br /> the structures and various portions of the premises involved
<br /> and a list of discrepancies in the structures located
<br /> thereon. That the Committ:ee found that each of the above
<br /> structures was in such state of deterioration and
<br /> dilapidation as to create a serious fire hazard to life and
<br /> property and that each of said buildings was dilapidated and
<br /> was dangerous to life and property and dangerous structures
<br /> to life and property. That said buildings are in such a
<br /> state of dilapidation and decay that none of said structures
<br /> are capable of repair. It is further found that the condi-
<br /> tion of the premises and structurES involveci was such that
<br /> the Committee recommended to the City Council that they be
<br /> declared a nuisance and that the owners thereof be ordered
<br /> by the City Council to tear down and remove the same trom
<br /> the lots involved. That said Committee filed a complete
<br /> report of its hEaring and its findings with the City Clerk
<br /> of the City of Paris on the 2nd day of December, 1992; and,
