ADVERTISEMENT AND INVITATION FOR BIDS <br />City of Paris <br />Contract #1001273 <br />The City of Paris is soliciting proposals for the construction of single-family homes within the City <br />of Paris. One (1) to eleven (11) homes may be constructed under a HOME Program grant received <br />from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). These homes will average <br />between 800 and 1180 square feet. <br />Contract documents, including house plans are on file for review at the following places: Ciry of <br />Paris, City Hall, 135 SE lst St., Paris, TX 75460 and Resource Management and Consulting Co. 3727 <br />Lamar, Paris, TX 75461. <br />Copies of the contract documents may be obtained from Resource Management & Consulting Co. <br />(Consultant) upon the payment of $25.00 (payable to Resource Management & Consulting Co.) or a <br />disk containing the bid documents can be obtained at no charge. <br />All proposals must be sealed and submitted by the bidder to the City of Paris on or before 10:00 <br />a.m. on the 4th day of Apri12012. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Apri14, 2012 at <br />10:15 a.m. Proposals may be delivered to the Paris City Hall, 135 SE 1St St., Paris, TX 75460. The <br />Contractor must ensure employees/applicants for employment are not discriminated against <br />because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. <br />1701u) as amended, and implementing regulations at 24 CFR Part 135 is applicable to this project. <br />The City of Paris reserves the right to reject any and/or to waive any informality in the bidding. <br />Bids may be held by the City of Paris for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the <br />opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, <br />prior to awarding the Contract. <br />The City of Paris subscribes to Equal Housing Opportunities. <br />. <br />Published: March 14, 2012 <br />- 195 <br />
