Install minimum 220 pound equivalent fiberglass seal tab Class A fiberglaes composition shingles <br />(20 year werranty) according to manufacturer's directions. Homeowner to choose one color from <br />three choices (to be light colors only). <br />B. Fiberglass shingles havc Class A label <br />C. Asphalt shingles should have a Class C label <br />D. Felt should bt 151b. 36tf wide. <br />12.2. Methods <br />A. All roofing must be applied in accordance with the Southem Building Codo. Unless otherwise <br />specified all old roof covering, whethcr composition, wood, or built up, must be removed prior to <br />installation of new roof. <br />B. A!1 defecrive, rotten, or missing sheathing, overharâ–ºgs, rafter ends, and fascia must bc replaced. <br />C. Thcrc must not be any voids or obstructions ia the sheadung, and knodtoles must be wvercd with <br />aheetmetal. <br />D. All rooSng must be done in accordance with the manufacturet's reeommendations, and installed in <br />such s manner to prevent any leeks. <br />12.3. Demolition <br />A. Demolition of cxisting roofing must be dono quickly to aliow replacement befora an inclement <br />weather condition develops. Precautions must be teken W protect the existing house from water- <br />damage at all time. <br />B. All torn off matcrial muat be heaped in piles aad haulod away immediatelv. <br />C.
