2. Final - Upon completion of the work the Contractor shall remove from the <br />site, all plant, materials, tools and equipment belonging to him, and leave the <br />site with an appearance acceptable to the Engineer. <br />14. LIGHTS AND POWER <br />The Contractor shall provide temporary lighting and facilities required for the proper <br />execution and inspection of the work in accordance with SSPC Guide 12. <br />Electrical power for lighting and hand tools is available on site at no cost to the <br />Contractor. All air compressors shall be engine driven. <br />15. COPIES OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATTONS FURNISHED <br />Three (3) sets of the Plans and Specifications shall be furnished without charge to the <br />Contractor for construction purposes. <br />16. COMPENSATION, PUBLIC LIABILITY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE <br />INSURANCE <br />Each and every Contractor performing work at the site will not commence work until <br />he has secured all the required insurance. This also applies to all sub-contractors who <br />will be working on the site. Coverage to be carried is shown in Paragraph 10, <br />Instruction to Bidders, Section II. <br />17. PORTABLE TOILET FACILITIES <br />The Contractor shall provide portable toilet facilities when workers are present. <br />18. PARTIAL PAYMENTS <br />In accordance with the General Conditions (Application for Progress Payment), the end <br />of the month is established as the progress payment date and the amount of retainage <br />will be ten percent (10%). <br />Contractors that submit requests for progress payments prior to the end of the month <br />will receive payment less 10% retainage for that month's progress by the end of the <br />following month. All retainage will be paid on the final payment. Contractor's <br />affidavit of bills paid must be submitted with request for final payment. <br />Section VII - 4`, 42 9 <br />
