That Section 31-19 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so <br /> that such shall read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 31-19. Sewer Rates - For customers <br /> using city water. <br /> (a) Charges for sewer service furnished <br /> by the city to domestic and commercial <br /> customers who are also users of city water <br /> are hereby tixed at eighty (80) per cent of <br /> the monthly charge for readiness to serve and <br /> water used, such use to be as registered by <br /> the user's water meter. <br /> (b) The charge for sewer service for a <br /> single-family residence shall not exceed <br /> twenty dollars ($20.00) per month, regardless <br /> of inetered water consumption and total <br /> monthly bill. <br /> (c) Users desiring to discharge sewage <br /> into the city's sewerage system, the strength <br /> of which sewage exceeds two hundred fifty <br /> (250) parts per million BOD; two hundred <br /> fifty (250) parts per million of suspended <br /> solids, or thirty (30) parts per million of <br /> ammonia, and which is acceptable under <br /> Article III of' this chapter, may do so upon <br /> written permission of the city and by paying <br /> a monthly treatment charge in the amount of <br /> one dollar fifty-one and nine tenths cents <br /> ($1.519) per one million (1,000,000) gallons <br /> of sewage flow for each one part per million <br /> in excess of the allowable BOD; one dollar <br /> thirty-three and nine tenths cents ($1.339) <br /> per one million (1,000,000) gallons of sewage <br /> flow for each one part per million in excess <br /> of the allowable suspended solids and four <br /> dollars eighty-nine and one tenths cents <br /> ($4.891) per one million (1,000,000) gallons <br /> of sewage flow for each one part per million <br /> in excess of the allowable ammonia strength. <br /> The city shall make the necessary tests of <br />
