Ar.iendments by revision. <br /> <br /> The Standa.rd Fire Prevention Code, 1982 <br /> Edition, as revised by 1983 revisions, as adopted <br /> in hereby amended by changing the following <br /> paragraptis to read as follows: <br /> 1.10- Compliance and Penalty. <br /> <br /> (a) Any person operating or maintaining any <br /> occupan.cy, premises, or vehicle subject to this <br /> Code who shall permit any fire hazard to exist on <br /> premises under his control or who shall fail to <br /> take immediate action to abate a fire hazard when <br /> ordered or notified to do so by the Fire Official <br /> or his duly authorized representative shall be <br /> guilty of a Class C misdemeanor, and upon con- <br /> viction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed <br /> $1,000.00 and each and every days continuance of <br /> any violation of the Standard Fire Code, 1982 <br /> Edition, revised by 1983 revisions, as adopted, or <br /> Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordir.ances of the City <br /> of Paris shall constitute and be deemed a separate <br /> offense. <br /> 2.01 - Board of Appeals and Adjustments <br /> Designated. <br /> <br /> The Board of Appeals established in. sub- <br /> paragraph B of Section 17-19 of the Code of <br /> Ordinances of the City of Paris is hereby des- <br /> ignated to serve as the Board of Appeals and <br /> Adjustment with regard to matters pertaining to <br /> the Standard Fire Prevention Code with the powers <br /> to recommend variances to the application of any <br /> provision of said code and to pass on related <br /> matters.
