<br /> AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC
<br /> HEARINGS BEF(7RE THE PLAIINING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE
<br /> CITY OF PARIS AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS ON
<br /> THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATE ZONING UPON ANrTEXATION,
<br /> AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
<br /> SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS.
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br /> PARIS:
<br /> Section l. That public hea.rings be held by and
<br /> before the Planning and Zoning commission of the City of
<br /> Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 2nd day of April, 1984, at 7:00
<br /> o'clock p.m. in the Council Room, City hall, Paris, Texas;
<br /> by and bPfore the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris,
<br /> Texas, in Regular Session convened on the 5th day of April,
<br /> 1984 at 5: i5 0' clock p.m. , in the Council Room, City Hall,
<br /> paris, Texas and bv and before the City Council of the City
<br /> of Paris, Texas, in Regular Session convened on the 9th day
<br /> of April, 1984, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Room,
<br /> City Hall, Paris, Texas, giving all interested persons the
<br /> right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation and
<br /> appropriate zonin.g upon annexatian of the following
<br /> described property:
<br /> Situated in Lamar County, Texas, being part
<br /> of the Joseph Leach Survey No. 524, the Joshua
<br /> Moore SurvPy No. 571, the Ed Crow Survey No. 208
<br /> and the John Guffey Survey No. 363 and being
<br /> further ciescribed as follows:
<br /> BEGINrIING at a point in the Nor_th boundary
<br /> line of U. S. Highway No. 82 at its intersection
<br /> with a Iine that is 600 feet east of and parallel
<br /> to the centerline of the outside lane of Loop
<br /> Highway 286 S. E., said point being in the present
<br /> City Limit line of the City of Paris;
<br /> THENCE in a Southeaster.ly direction with said
<br /> line that is 600 feet east of and parallel to the
<br /> outside land of Loop Highway 286 S. E., 2,000 feet
<br /> more or less to a point in the North line of Lot
<br /> 6, Block A of Morningside Estates;
<br /> THENCE East, a distance of 0-08 feet more or
<br /> less to the Northeast corner of said Lot 6, Block
<br /> A of Morningside Estates;
<br /> THEPdCE North 0° 26' East, a distarce of 628.5
<br /> feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 26, Block A of
<br /> Morningside Estates;
<br /> THENCE North 0° 20' West, a. distance of 619.5
<br /> feet to the northwest corr_er of a 19.607 acre
<br /> tract of land conveyed H. Randall Grounds and A.T.
<br /> Edzards, of record in. Volum.e 659, Page 892, of the
<br /> Deed Records of Lamar county, Texas;
<br /> THENCE South $9° 09' East, a distan.ce of
<br /> 1,382.15 feet to the northeast corner of said
<br /> 19.607 acre tract; said point being in the East
<br /> line of the Joseph Leach Survey;
<br /> THENCE North 0° 30'30" East with the east
<br /> boundary line of said Leach Survey, a distance of
<br /> 111.1 feet ta a point, said point being 500 feet
