ORDINANCE N0. 84-051 AP1 ORDINANCE CONTAINING A HEARING ON PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, BELOr1GING TO VARIOUS OWNERS, AND AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FINDING THE MATERIALS REMAINING IN THE PREMISES TO CONSTITUTE A NUISANCE AND TO BE A FIRE HAZARD TO LIFE AND PROPERTY AND A HAZARD TO THE LI.FE AND LdELFARE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA, AND ORDERING SAID RUBBISH, LUMBER ANB REFUSE FROM THE STRUCTURES TO BE TORN DOWN AND REMOVED FP,OM THE PREMISES IN ORDER TO ABATE SUCH NUISANCE, WHEREAS, a public hearing was called to order by the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Grahar.l, on the 13th day of August, 1984, a.t 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the Council Room, City Hall, in the City of Paris, Texas; and, WHEREAS, the City Cour_cil finds that the Building Hazard Inspection Committee fixed a date for hearing on the resolution referred to the Committee by the City Council on the llth day of June, 1984, and said Committee fixed said hearing at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on the 12th day of July, 1984, and the hearing was had thereon. Tha_t proper notice was given to the owner or owners of the structures located at the following addresses: 617 N.W. 3rd, Lot 8, Block 90-A 1402 Franklin, St., Lot 4, Block 3 410 Graham, Lot 8, Block 54 451 2nd N. E., Lot 12, Block 76 625 - 25th N. E., Lot 9, Block 258 1385 S. Church, Lot 3, Block 162 219 SycaMOre, Lot 2, Block 3 564 W. Shiloh, Lot 12, Block 88 750 - 6rh N. W., Lot 26, Block 88 That at said hearing the Committee listed the structures involved and introduced pictures of the various portions of rhe structures and various portions of the premises involved and a list of discrepancies in the structures located thereon. That the Committee found tha.t each of the above structures was in such state of deterioration and dilapidation a.s to create a sPrious fire hazard to life and property and that each of said buildings was dilapidated and was dangerous to life and property and dangerous structures to life and property. That said buildings are in such a state of dilapidation and decay that none of said structures are capable of repair. It is further found that the condi- tion of the premises and structures involved was such that the Committee recommended to the City Council that they be declared a nuisance and that the owners thereof be ordered by the City Council to tear down and remove the same from the lots involved. That said Committee filed a complete report of its hearing and its findings with the City Clerk of the City of Paris on the 16th day of July, 1984; and, WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that proper notice was given to the owner or owners of the structures hereinafter listed. That at said hearing on the 12th day of July, 1984, the Committee listed the structures involved and introduced pictures of the various portions of the structures and various portions of the premises involved and a Iist of discrepancies in the structures located thereon. That the Corunittee found that each of the hereinafter listed structures was in such state of deterioration and
