Copper piping shall be <br /> continuous through the floor, having no fittings <br /> or joints betow the surface of the floor. " <br /> <br /> (18) Paragraph 19. 4. 5 shall be deleted. <br /> <br /> (19) Paragraph 19. 4. 9 shall be changed by adding <br /> under Type of Fixture or Devise and Minimum Pipe <br /> Size and immediately after Wall Hydrant 1/2, the <br /> following: <br /> <br /> "Water Heater 3 /4" <br /> <br /> (20) Paragraph 19. 4. 12 shall be changed to read as <br /> follow s : <br /> <br /> "19. 4. 12 Water Supply Control: An approved <br /> stop and waste shut-off valve shall be installed in <br /> the water service pipe on the property side of the <br /> meter, adjacent to the City Meter Box. Said valve • <br /> shall be enclosed in a plastic valve box with a <br /> removable cover equipped with a cut off key. There <br /> shall be a six (6) foot minimum separation of the <br /> valve from any sewer clean out plug. " <br /> (21) In Paragraph 22. 2. 1 the first sentence thereof <br /> shall be changed to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "All pipe used for the installation, extension, <br /> alteration, or repair of any gas piping shall be <br /> new, standard-weight black steel, polyethylene <br /> or tin lined copper, free from splits, internal <br /> obstruction or other defects. " <br /> <br /> (22) In Paragraph 22. 2. 2 the second sentence of the <br /> first paragraph shall be changed to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Polyethylene tubing shall be manufactured in <br /> accordance with requirements for PE 3306 tubing <br /> or equivalent in Specifications for Plastic Gas <br /> Pressure Tubing, Pipe and Fittings. " <br /> <br /> and the third paragraph shall be changed to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "The tubing shall be homogeneous throughout <br /> and free of visible cracks, holes, foreign inclusions <br /> or other defects. It shall also be uniform in color, <br /> opacity, density and other physical properties. This <br /> material shall be connected together by use of flared <br /> fittings or compression fittings and screwed connec- <br /> tions and be installed in accordance with manufacturer's <br /> recommendations. Polyethylene pipe shall not be <br /> flared, threaded or extended above ground level. " <br />
